What Have You Learned?
As we grow older, a lot of things we once valued aren’t as valuable to us as they once were. The way we thought the world works isn’t exactly how the world works. Is it that we have lost faith, or do we just see things for how they really are?
Being popular is more important than being smart… how silly of me.
Having things is more important than having assets… how silly of me.
Not realizing every mistake or sin is fear-based… how silly of me.
Trying to change people rather than being the change I want to see… how silly of me.
What have you realized that you have been silly of? How do you see the world now compared to when you were 18? 21?

I learned once it’s on the internet it’s pretty much impossible to get rid of it. You just hope it fades into obscurity. So be careful who you let take pictures of you or videotape you.
I also learned that your parents are not mostly right, but sometimes they believe some dumb ish…LOL

@Trillionaire Wood,
Yeah, we pretty much live in the age where nothing is private anymore. All we can do is control what we put out there as best as we can.
Another one… Some rappers we think are extra-ignit are actually really smart. They’re just selling an image. (Plies)
I learned that:
1)Being broke (and telling people about it) is not a good look…
2)Pledging allegiance to the “hood” you were raised in gets a little tiresome after a while…
3)Echoing Trillionaire: Taking an elder advice can sometimes lead you to where they are…in a wheelchair.
4)Faking it until you make is only applicable in certain circumstances…like job interviews.
5)I’m still unlearning…
